Kirstie has set a good goal for weight loss and if she eats a lot less and exercises a lot more, she should be able to achieve her target. If I were Kirstie's trainer, I'd encourage her to set some cosmetic goals so she can gauge her progress by means other than the scales. I'd encourage her to set some other goals so she can gauge her progress in terms of fitness as well as weight. I’d certainly keep encouraging her to set goals so boredom and complacency don't set in.

Lisa Marie Presley
Expert Verdict: estimated weight gain of 2 st
Lisa Marie is obviously struggling with her weight since becoming a mum. Pregnancy weight can be tough to shift as it's very stubborn fat - the body is designed to really hang onto it to support breastfeeding. Lisa Marie carries a lot of her weight around the middle which puts her at greater risk for developing heart disease. She should begin a regular exercise regime to boost her cardiovascular fitness, raise her metabolic rate and get her weight down.

Mariah Carey
Expert verdict: estimated weight gain of 1 ½ st

Mariah’s obviously enjoying life at the moment but it seems she might be in danger of tipping the balance. If she’s drinking more, this could account for her weight gain as champagne, one of the lower calorie drinks, contains around 90 calories a glass. Drinking 14 units a week means you could you gain a pound in 2 ½ weeks through alcohol calories alone.
