About Laura
Laura Williams found exercise relatively late in life – in fact, she still has a copy of an old PE report which says: “Laura participates with the minimum effort and enthusiasm.” Laura believes this has stood her in good stead for motivating – and empathising with - people who don’t always initially warm to the idea of making lasting lifestyle changes.
As someone who used to smoke, drink, and eat chocolate for breakfast (she doesn’t do any of this now, btw), Laura believes she’s in a good position to take exercise to the British public; a kind of stepping stone between the Lycra brigade and the man on the street.
Laura‘s aim is to make exercise and a half-decent diet accessible, doable and effective for everyone: “I believe it is possible to get into shape and look after yourself without sacrificing the good life. You can only be so disciplined for so long - I can't give up sweets or commit to five hours in the gym every week, so I don't see why my clients should!”
