ACTIVE ESSENTIALS
"My hair can really get in the way of a workout," says always-active diet and fitness expert Laura Williams. "I can't have it dangling in my face when I'm training, so I travel with a headscarf, an assortment of clips and grips, and (uncool as it may seem) a swimming hat to protect my highlights. I wear oil-free, waterproof sunscreens so I can take a dip after my workout without worrying about burning – it's easy to catch more sun that you realise when you're in the water. My feet come off quite badly when I'm away due to running on new surfaces, walking around barefoot and spending all day in the hot sun, so I take a soothing moisturising scrub to de-puff swollen ankles and get rid of dead, flaky skin. I also take a muscle rub to treat tight hamstrings – a bit of self-massage on the backs of my legs works wonders. Finally, a tinted moisturiser with SPF is essential for a little bit of glow and a lot of protection."
