Confidence Queries - MEET OUR EXPERTS

Each day our experts encounter many women’s difficulties with their self esteem and give them advice on how they can be more confident. We would like to introduce them to you and share their advice on commonly asked questions.

The fitness expert Laura Williams (LW) is a personal trainer.

Q: When I know that I look good, or I’m having a thin day, I always feel so much better about myself, but this doesn’t happen often enough. How can I make myself feel like this all the time?
A: Make exercise a priority. Working out regularly will help to tone you up, and the rush of feel-good endorphins you'll get afterwards will boost your mood. The key is to find an activity you enjoy. If you hate the gym, take your workout outdoors – being in the fresh air will give you a further boost.
And afterwards, make sure you use a buffer in the shower and moisturise to keep your skin in the best condition. This will help you to project a better body image, so you’ll feel more confident. (LW)
